3rd Gen Dodge Ram Front Hitch Bumper Kit

This is a high clearance DIY weld-together bumper kit for the 3rd generation (2002-2008) Dodge Ram (Diesel and Gasoline). It features a low profile design, fully bolt-on construction, integrated 2" hitch receiver and the best approach angle on the market. The high clearance design makes your Ram look more aggressive by showing off your front suspension and tires. In addition, this bumper frees up a ton of space in your front wheel wells and allows you to run 37" tires without any bumper interference! This bumper allows you to forget about approach angle and substantially improves the offroad capability of your Ram. It offers excellent protection from rocks, trees and animal strikes and has been kept to a very reasonable weight of 94lbs (or 47lbs in aluminum) through careful design work. This means less stress on your suspension and drivetrain components.

This bumper mounts to the inner and outer faces of the vehicle's main frame rails for excellent vehicle protection and pulling strength. This mounting system distributes impact and hitch forces evenly across your frame and makes for the stiffest mounting interface of any bumper on the market. This bumper also uses a low profile design that tucks tightly to the body and slopes up directly from the end of the frame. This results in maximum ground clearance and approach angles that will let you take lines on the trail that weren't previously possible.

In addition to the front hitch receiver, this bumper comes with 4 locations to mount 3x3" surface mount LED pod lights as well as a center cut out sized to fit all 30" single row light bars. All of these lighting mounts come with slotted mounting tabs that give a ton of adjustability to fit a wide range of different lights.

The recovery points are recessed into the bumper and placed as close as possible to the front of each frame rail. This directs pulling forces into the frame and eliminates the leveraging effect that traditional recovery points can put on the bumper and frame due to how far away they are from the frame. The way that our recovery points are situated makes them much stronger than their thickness may suggest. And since they are recessed, they eliminate the catching points that traditional recovery lugs can become.
